The summer of 2007 was a very busy time for the Young Adult Department. Under the direction of new Department Head Brandon Hines, the reading program drew many dozens of teens in to experience the joys of reading (and of course win a few awesome prizes).

In addition, the month of July saw the release of both the fifth Harry Potter movie and the final Harry Potter book. We celebrated accordingly with an entire month of Harry-Potter themed events.
